The Reception children have begun their very first topic with a whizz, pop and a bang! We are the superheroes of the Early Years Department! Each class has been reading a book called Super Hero ABC by Bob McLeod. We have been celebrating how we are all different and special in our own way just like the superheroes in the class book. It has been fun learning all about amazing alliteration and the special sounds effects that superheroes can make. In our art lessons we have enjoyed making arm cuffs with secret buttons and lasers as well as superhero lollypop stick characters. During our outdoor learning time we have noticed the trees changing with the seasons and look forward to an autumnal welly walk next week!
