🔴 Comic Relief – Red Nose Day 🔴
On Friday 20th March, pupils are invited to wear something red to school in support of @comicrelief ❤️
For a donation of £2 or more, students may wear an item of red clothing and, if they wish, Comic Relief merchandise. Please note that merchandise will not be available in school, but it can usually be found in supermarkets or online stores.
🪣 Collection buckets will be available at the Main Gates.

A huge thank you to parent guest speaker Aqsa Zaheer for delivering a wonderful assembly this morning, teaching our pupils all about Ramadan and Eid. 🌙✨
Mrs Zaheer was joined by her daughter and some helpful Prep 6 pupils, who proudly wore their traditional religious dress while sharing information and personal photos. They also highlighted how other Lady Barners within our wider school community celebrate this special time in different ways.
It was fantastic for our pupils to see so many photos from families across the Lady Barn community, helping them connect these celebrations with our school’s five core values.🏫

🚑 A visit from heroes who help us!
As part of our Nursery topic “People Who Help Us”, the children were thrilled to welcome a very special visitor - an ambulance and its amazing crew! The children had the chance to explore the vehicle, learn about the important equipment inside, and discover how paramedics help people in emergencies.
There were lots of curious questions, big smiles, and even a few future paramedics in the making! 👩⚕️👨⚕️

This morning we had a nail-biting chess competition at @altrinchampreparatoryschool and we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that we won the competition for the second year running! 🎉👏🏆
A huge well done to all of our pupils who took part, your focus, strategy and determination were fantastic to watch.

As we look back on a truly excellent start to the half term as we enjoyed Prep 4’s fantastic performance of Jungle Book Stories! 🌿🐒
From brightly coloured costumes and beautifully painted faces to confident singing, acting and dancing, every child played their part in bringing the jungle to life. With support from our Lower Junior Limelighters, it was the perfect celebration of creativity, teamwork and weeks of hard work.
