What an incredible few days - packed with adventure, from hiking 🥾 and ghyll scrambling 💦 to abseiling 🧗♂️ and so much more.
Along the way, the children made unforgettable memories, discovered fascinating new things, and built valuable life skills that will stay with them long after the trip - Now they are on their way back! 🚍✨

Prep 1 artists had a wonderful time creating abstract art this week with Miss Fitzsimons.
They traced around different shapes, overlapping them to build interesting designs, before carefully painting their work with watercolours. It was lovely to see their focus and creativity shine through.
Each piece turned out so bright, expressive and full of personality. It was such a joyful session 🥰

Day 2 of our Prep 5 residential and the adventure levels are still climbing! 🌄💪
From navigating the great outdoors with orienteering 🧭, to conquering new heights in rock climbing 🧗, and embracing the wild with some exhilarating ghyll scrambling 🌊 - day two has been all about teamwork, resilience and stepping out of comfort zones.

Having learned his pieces in just a matter of weeks, Laurence showed incredible dedication - working tirelessly over the Easter break in preparation. His hard work truly paid off, earning him 3rd place in the Year 5 Piano Solo class 🥉👏

Last week, we welcomed guest speaker Mr Chris Power, who delivered a truly inspiring talk to our pupils. 🔬✨
Mr Power works with advanced microscopes that allow scientists to explore the cells that make up all living species. By developing new technologies, he helps capture incredible videos of living cells in the finest detail - revealing processes never seen before. 🧫
His work takes him across the globe, supporting researchers in hospitals and universities as they unlock discoveries that lead to new treatments and life-changing medicines.
