Prep 6 Modules Week: Woodland Bird Box Edition! 🐦🌳
Modules Week is a much-loved Lady Barn tradition and marks the beginning of the final chapter of Prep 6’s journey at LBHS. While there’s plenty of excitement ahead, our pupils have been making the most of their time in the woodland classroom by creating bird boxes for the wildlife that calls our woodland home. 🌿🔨
From measuring and building to decorating and finishing, the creativity and skill on display has been truly impressive. The finished bird boxes look fantastic and will provide a welcoming home for many feathered visitors in the years to come! 🪵✨🐣

After asking @foodbankstockport what items were needed most, we were delighted to collect a fantastic number of pasta and curry sauce jars 🍝, hair conditioner 🧴, and dried lentils 🌱.

⚽🏆 Huge congratulations to Karim (1R), who has recently celebrated league title success with two of his grassroots football teams! 🥇
Despite only being in Prep 1, Karim has been playing a year up for both Cheshire Sports Club U7 and Collyhurst FC U7, while also balancing commitments with several academy teams 👏💪

🐦 What an incredible way to celebrate our Animal Theme Week! 🐾🎉
Our exciting Birds of Prey display gave the whole school the chance to dress up in fantastic animal-themed outfits while meeting some magnificent birds and learning lots of fascinating facts. 🦅✨
A special highlight of the day was a visit from a real-life ‘Barney’ owl! 🦉💙 Our Early Years and Prep 1 children were especially thrilled to meet and say hello to our beloved school mascot, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone. 😊🌟
