✨📚 Ms Higson had a truly delightful time reading The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl during book club today with Prep 3!
The room was filled with imagination, laughter, and some wonderfully expressive reading from our pupils 👏💫
We even had a special guest… Darwin 🐾 who seemed to thoroughly enjoy listening to the children’s lovely storytelling too! 🥰

This morning, we were delighted to welcome Mohamed Elhawary, father of Katie (4H) and Hazel (1R), to assembly, as part of our Guest Speaker programme ✨
Mohamed spoke to the children about the importance of soft skills for success in business and beyond. He shared valuable advice, encouraging pupils to:
-Listen carefully
-Meet new people and build friendships
-Share ideas with confidence
-Pursue their passions
-Believe in themselves
-Develop resilience
He also gave an insight into his work in marketing, explaining how creativity plays a key role in promoting well-known brands across a wide range of industries, including food, health supplements, and beauty.
Several of the children showed an interest in running their own business when they are older, and Mohamed shared that you can never be too young to start!
It was a fantastic and inspiring session. Thank you, Mohamed, for your time and for sharing your experiences with us!
