Sports Coach
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (33.25 hours per week)
Remuneration: Scale E, Points 17-20 £26,903 to £28,368
If you are an enthusiastic and dynamic female sports coach with a passion for inspiring young people, we would love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing school with an outstanding sports program. The successful candidate will support the coaching and teaching of Physical Edication and Girls' Games from Nursery (age 3+) to Prep 6. The role also involves delivering a high-quality multi-sports programme for the School's Holiday Club.
As the successful candidate will primarily be required to teach girls’ games during term time, only female candidates will be considered for this position. This is a genuine occupational requirement (as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
What You'll Do:
- Teach & Coach: Deliver engaging Physical Education for pupils aged 3-11 and assist in the teaching of Girls' Games lessons, supporting both curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
- Support Fixtures & Competitions: Coach and support the management of girls' sports teams, attend fixtures (including occasional Saturdays), and assist with sporting events and residential trips.
- Develop Pupils' Skills: Provide individual and team feedback, support talent development, and ensure inclusive participation in sports.
- School Holiday Club: Lead the multi-sports provision for the School's Holiday Club.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified sports coach with experience in coaching a range of sports, particularly netball, hockey, rounders, gymnastics, and athletics.
- Experience in an educational setting, working with children aged 3-11.
- Passionate about inspiring young people in sport and developing their skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and pupils.
- Ability to manage teams of varying abilities and support inclusive learning.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to train) and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Flexibility to support fixtures and competitions, including occasional Saturdays.
- Willingness to undertake minibus driver training (full training provided).

Holiday Club Assistant
Contract: Zero hours, flexible and casual
Remuneration: Highly competitive, based on experience and qualifications
We are looking for passionate, energetic, and creative Holiday Club Assistants to join our amazing team! This is your chance to work with a fantastic group of children in our established Holiday Club, providing a fun, safe, and exciting environment for children aged 3-11 years during the school holidays (except Christmas).
If you’re someone who loves working with children, has a flair for fun and engaging activities, and is eager to be part of an enthusiastic team, then we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Help run a dynamic Holiday Club for children aged 3-11, creating an atmosphere that’s safe, fun, and full of adventure.
- Plan and run exciting activities that encourage children’s development and spark their imaginations.
- Build fantastic relationships with children, staff, and parents, being the friendly face that parents trust for updates and enquiries.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including assisting with snacks, meals, and hygiene routines.
- Be a positive role model, setting great standards for behaviour and helping children grow in independence.
- Provide basic first aid when needed and ensure incidents are documented correctly.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) – essential for working with children in the Early Years.
- A proven passion for working with children aged 3-11, with a creative and enthusiastic approach.
- Paediatric First Aid training (or a willingness to get trained).
- Experience planning and leading fun activities that cater to children’s needs.
- A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a team player who works well under direction but isn’t afraid to use their initiative!
