Six group game matches were played, where we ended up in second place with four wins, one draw and one defeat.  We were delighted with reaching the semi-finals, by progressively improving and developing a team ethic. Our opponents in the semi final were the winners of the other group, Scarisbrick Hall. We were under pressure initially, with some fantastic saves by Shay to keep us in the contest.

Unfortunately Scarisbrick scored a goal off a rebound, but this encouraged us to develop some enterprising attacking play. Sadly though, we ran out of time and the game ended 1-0.

Mr Wallace and I were delighted with how well we played, which was endorsed by our parents. We look forward to building on the successes we achieved during the tournament.
