This half term, in our computing lessons, we have been looking at Digital Art. The children have been using apps such as Clips, Keynote and Sketches to create presentations and short movies that reflect their personalities. In Year 5 and 6, we looked at some of the work of Julian Opie and attempted our own Opie inspired line portraits. The children produced some fantastic work.

In Year 1 & 2 computing lessons we have been experimenting with photography and discovering how a ‘boring’ object can actually be made to look very exciting! The children enjoyed exploring the school grounds and captured and edited photos with remarkable results.

Reception have also been enjoying their computing lessons. We have been discussing the importance of online safety and also using augmented reality to bring our artistic creations to life!
