"What If You Can Fly?"
Back4M have been working recently on a classroom display called 'What If You Fly?' which is inspired by the following poem by Erin Hanson:
There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask,
'What if I fall?'
'Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?'
We have talked a lot about being brave, seizing opportunities and working hard at something challenging, and the children have written their own 'Hopes, Dreams and Challenges' for the future. They have each painted two feathers to collectively create the wings, and this week we are photographing the children, arms outstretched and taking flight!
We love our bright, positive display. It reminds us that we might surprise ourselves with what we can achieve if we take risks and step out of our comfort zone.
