The LBHS Shakespeare Monologue Competition is an annual event open to children in Prep 5 and 6, where participants learn and perform a monologue from one of Shakespeare's plays. A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year – the talent on display was truly impressive!

The winner was Zoya (5A), who delivered a fantastic performance as a Fairy from A Midsummer Night's Dream. The runners-up were Lydia (6E), who portrayed Caliban from The Tempest, and Prisha (5S), who brought Juliet to life in the famous balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Well done to all three girls!

The girls will be entered into the Independent Schools' Association Shakespeare Monologue Competition, and we wish them the best of luck!
