Nursery visit Reddish Vale Farm
BackOur Nursery children recently visited Reddish Vale Farm, following our theme of 'People who help us'. The children set off, wearing their hi-vis jackets and their wellies; excitement levels were at an all-time high!
When we arrived, we met with the farm helpers who set us off on our adventure. First, we visited the small animals, where the children sat and had the chance to stroke guinea pigs, rabbits, a baby goat and a chick. After this, the children were shown all the big animals, like Vera the horse, alpacas, cows, sheep and cheeky goats. We were each given a bucket of carrots to feed the animals and the children were absolutely ecstatic about this. They were so well behaved throughout the visit, and listened to all the information that they were told, very carefully. Well done, Nursery!
