1) Can you share a favourite school memory or a funny moment that stands out to you?

I went to Withington and we had a lovely music teacher who made lessons really fun. In Junior assemblies, when it was someone's birthday he would always play a jazzy version of Happy Birthday then pretend to fall off his piano stool. What can I say? It never got old!

2) If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be, and how would you use it at Lady Barn?

I'd love to be able to fly. I wouldn't go too high though, as I'd actually be quite scared. I'd probably just swoop in and out of classrooms, causing havoc!

3) Do you have any quirky or unique decorations or traditions that make your workspace special?

In 5F, we have a compliments jar, which we empty each Friday. Everyone gets to keep their compliments, but the ones addressed to the whole class are pinned up on a special board in our classroom. The children are so kind and appreciative of each other that it's getting pretty full!

4) Can you tell us about a special talent or hobby you have outside of your role at Lady Barn that brings you joy?

I love climbing up high places, as you get lovely fresh air, a sense of achievement and a nice view! I made a new year's resolution to complete a hike every month of 2024. So far I have stuck to it!
