We have made a great start to the year in the Music Department. All the individual music lessons have begun well, and we have our Class Concerts this week in lessons. I am looking forward to seeing the progress of all the children, and I am excited for our Prep 5 Recital in early November. Letters will be coming home shortly to those children whom the visiting music teachers feel are ready to perform on that occasion.

The clubs are also in full swing, and lots of children are coming along to our two choirs: Chorus (Prep 3 and Prep 4) and Encore (Prep 5 and Prep 6). We are even tentatively moving towards preparations for our Christmas performances! Both Music Theatre groups have made a start on their productions, and some children have already given a fabulous performance at John Lewis for the Fashion Show!

We will continue working hard to get ready for all our events later in the term. Watch out for dates when you can come and see us all perform!
