Prep 2 Council Elections

Prep 2 has had its first experience of democracy, as the school elections took place. Those who wanted to put themselves forward as a councillor prepared some fantastic speeches with some great ideas! From planting a tree for every class, to 'Barney's Happy Meals' for lunch and raising money for local charities, they certainly had a lot of valuable suggestions for the council to consider. We are so proud of all the children who put themselves forward for a role and really enjoyed listening to their speeches. Those who weren't elected have the opportunity to try again in the Juniors. With so many budding councillors, the future is bright for Prep 2!
