News ‐ 2nd May
I had the pleasure of assisting in 1J last week while they were dissecting a flower as part of their science lesson. They have been learning all about plants and how they grow.
With eager hands and curious eyes, the children meticulously opened up a flower to reveal the hidden wonders inside! They carefully separated each part - the stamen, sepal, stigma, petal, leaf, and stem - examining, affixing and labelling each one to their papers.
They did a fantastic job and really enjoyed the lesson!
