A big Lady Barn thank you to local da MP Tom Morrison for visiting our School!
Pupils from our School Council proudly shared their outdoor learning adventures — from nettle painting and wild garlic bread to mudslides, team building and more.
Our Eco Coordinator Mr Jones also revealed some exciting news… we’ve been awarded the GOLD Outdoor Learning Award by @schoolimpactawards and @optimuseducation

One of the most heartwarming things we do here at Lady Barn is our Reading Buddies inactive. Our Reception children are paired with a Prep 6 buddy, who reads a chosen book with them.
It’s a truly special time – seeing some of our youngest Lady Barners sharing stories and smiles with our oldest! 😊✨
Moments like these beautifully reflect the journey our children take through Lady Barn – growing, learning, and supporting one another every step of the way.

📚✨ Pre-loved Book Sale – Friday 27 June! ✨📚
Join us after Transition Afternoon for our Pre-loved Book Sale, raising funds for the Beyond Learning Bursary Fund! Stay after dismissal to browse books, enjoy refreshments, and connect with other families before the summer break.
With reading at the heart of our curriculum, this is a great chance to:
✅ Pick up summer reads for just £1 (£2 for large non-fiction)
✅ Encourage reading over the holidays
✅ Support sustainability by giving books a new home
✅ Help fund a great cause!
📅 Book Donation Drop-Off Dates:
📖 Monday 9 June – morning & afternoon

🎟️ For every book donated, you’ll receive a raffle ticket—with a chance to win a book token! Winners will be announced on our social media on Monday 30 June.
